About Matt
Let me tell you a little about Matt. (wife speaking.) He’s a 30-something great husband, a superdad, a law school student, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has super quirky hobbies that I tease him about all the time, and two of his greatest interests seem to be paradoxical: heavy metal music and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He’s convinced that there must be other men like him out there– people who devotedly live the Mormon faith, but still love a good Iron Maiden concert and fantasize about owning a KTM Enduro street-legal dirt bike. I’m not so sure about that, but this blog is my gift to him. If there are kindred spirits out there, I hope he finds them!
What makes this blog different from any other metal site you might find? This blog is rated PG, and you might occasionally have a spiritual experience. Rock on.
I have often wondered if there was anyone else out there who like to camp and ride dirt bikes, buggies, or anything and still be good members of the church. We always go alone because we haven’t had luck finding any.

I really am enjoying your blog, thanks for forcing me to read (much better than Biggest Loser). I am nowhere near the metal head that you are, or nearly as knowledgeable in the gospel you are on my hero list. Keep up the good work.
